Dr. Amit Dhiman is an expert in the field of medical oncology and practices evidence-based medicine, focusing on excellent outcomes in cancer care. He has more than 20 years of experience in managing all solid and hematological malignancies, with a special interest in immunotherapy and targeted therapies. His areas of special interest include solid organ tumors, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy, precision oncology, and individualized care.

Dr. Amit Dhiman completed his MBBS and MD (internal medicine) from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana; his DNB (medical oncology) from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center, Delhi; and his Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR) in Delhi. Further, he received his European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO, Sweden) certification in 2014.

 

Before his association with Cancer Centers of America, Dr. Amit Dhiman was associated with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana as HOD and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and Deep Hospital as Director - of Medical Oncology. 

 

Dr. Amit Dhiman successfully started the 'AUTOLOGOUS BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT PROGRAM' at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. He has also written editorials for the Textbook of the Association of Physicians of India, 2016. Moreover, his experience and zeal have also made him a member of the editorial board of the Journal of the 'Asian Journal of Oncology'.
